3lgTo 4 lg. onions; diced
3clGarlic; minced OR
1/2tsGarlic powder
2lgCans Italian plum tomatoes; pureed in blender
1/4tsBlack and white pepper
3tbOlive oil
1/4lbProsciutto; diced
1cn8-oz. tomato sauce
1/2cFresh basil; chopped OR
1tbDried basil
1/4tsSalt

Saute onions with garlic in olive oil for about 5 mins. Add prosciutto and cook a few minutes longer. Add tomato sauce and simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes. Add plum tomatoes, salt, and pepper and cook 1 hr. Serve over linguine or your favorite macaroni.
