Moist and flavourful Salmon steaks and a creamy, nicely textured sauce in 10 minutes flat.
Directions:
In a 12x8x2" microwave baking dish arrange salmon steaks with the thickest parts in the corners. Dampen four squares of paper towel. Layering one over the other, cover dish. Microwave at HIGH for 6-7 min. Let stand. Test for doneness. Juices should run clear and flesh should be opaque when fork tested. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 2 1/2 min. or until evenly heated, stirring twice, during cooking period. Pour hot sauce over salmon and serve immediately. Compliments of the Fisheries Council of B.C.
