Title: Golden Dijon Barbecue Ribs

4 | lb | Spareribs |
3/4 | c | Dijon mustard |
1 | tb | Soya sauce |
1/4 | ts | Garlic powder |
1 | c | Liquid honey |
2 | 3 tbsp red hot sauce | |
2 | ts | Onion powder |
TO PREPARE RIBS; Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Place in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until meat is tender. Drain ribs. Brush Golden dijon barbecue sauce generously over ribs. Barbecue or broil 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes per side. Baste ribs again with sauce just before serving. Makes 6 servings.
GOLDEN DIJON BBQ SAUCE: In medium saucepan, combine honey, dijon mustard, hot sauce, soya sauce, onion and garlic powders. Bring mixture to boil Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, 15 - 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Refrigerate any leftover sauce. (Great for barbecued chicken too)
