Title: Cranberry Wine Sauce

3 | tb | Sugar |
ds | Nutmeg, ground | |
1 | ts | Cinnamon, ground |
1/4 | ts | Cloves, ground |
1 | Lemon; grated rind of | |
1/2 | c | Wine, port |
1 | lb | Cranberry sauce, whole berry |
Combine dry ingredients and wine; mix well. Place in a saucepan over low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add cranberry sauce; stir with a fork or wire whisk until mixture is smooth and heated thoroughly. Serve with game, pork, or lamb.
