Title: Chocolate Cake with Dobash Frosting

18 1/2ozPkg devil's food cake mix
3 3/4ozPkg instant chocolate
  Pudding and pie filling
12ozCan lemon lime soda
1/2cSalad oil
3 Eggs
  Dobash Frosting
1cSugar
2cWater
1/4cButter or margarine
1/4tsSalt
1/3cCornstarch
1/2cSweetened cocoa powder

Oven at 350F. Grease 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan. In large bowl of electric mixer, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 min. Cool and frost with Dobash Frosting. M's note: Lemon-lime soda, snicker.

Dobash Frosting

In a saucepan, combine sugar, 1 1/2 c water, butter, and salt; bring to a boil. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch, the remaining water, and cocoa. Stir until smooth; add to hot mixture. Cook on medium, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick. Remove from heat and continue stirring until cool. Frost cake.
