Title: Holiday Sweet Potatoes

6 | lg | Sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced, divided |
3 | lg | Apples, peeled and sliced, divided |
3/4 | c | Packed brown sugar |
2 | ts | Ground nutmeg |
1/4 | c | Butter or margarine |
1 | c | Apple cider |
1 | c | Chopped pecans, toasted |
Layer half of the sweet potatoes and half of the apples in a greased,
13"x9"x2" baking dish. Repeat layers. Combine brown sugar and nutmeg.
Sprinkle on top. Dot with butter. Pour cider over all. Cover and bake at
350øF for 45 to 50 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans just before serving.
