18 | Ears corn, cut off the cob | |
(14-15 c of kernels) | ||
1 | Hd cabbage, small, cored and ground | |
6 | Onions, ground | |
3 | Red bell peppers, cored, | |
Seeded, chopped fine | ||
3 | Green bell peppers, cored, | |
Seeded, chopped fine | ||
1 | tb | Crushed hot red pepper |
2 | ts | Celery seed |
1 | tb | Mustard seed |
8 | c | Cider vinegar |
1/4 | c | Salt |
2 | c | Sugar |
Combine all ingredients in a big kettle and bring to a boil. Simmer 35 min. Put up in sterilized jars and store in a cool, dark, dry place.
