1 | sm | Onion,chopped |
2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
1 | cn | 10 1/2 oz. condensed beef |
| | Broth |
1/2 | | Soup can water |
1 1/2 | c | Frozen broccoli, cauliflower |
| | And carrots,thawed |
1/4 | c | Raisins |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
1/8 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 1/2 | c | Dry rice |
1/2 | c | Sliced almonds |
Brown beef and onion in hot butter in a large skillet.Add broth
water,vegetables,raisins,lemon juice and cinnamon.Bring to a boil Stir in
rice and almonds.Cover;remove from heat.Let stand 5 minutes.Fluff with a
fork.Makes 4 servings.
